Where is my Comforter for I need help this morn
\nI need a path that\u2019s straighter than my own
\nMy compass is broken and I can\u2019t find my way
\nOh Comforter oh Comforter will you help me I pray<\/p>\n
I know if I wake Him, He\u2019s willing to hear
\nBut to mold me and teach me He leaves right here
\nHe taught me to wait and listen for Him
\nThat I may grow and become His close friend<\/p>\n
This body is worn and my spirits are fraid
\nI\u2019m ready for Him to lead me away
\nHelp me my Comforter till the end of this day
\nI\u2019m frail and I fear that I won\u2019t find the way<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been bumpy and rough on this poor old soul
\nI think, yes I think I\u2019ve taken a terrible road
\nI\u2019m feeling uncomfortable and yes so alone
\nI must wake my Comforter to guide me toward Home<\/p>\n
You need not fret or be scared anymore
\nMy door stands opened for you to my throne
\nTo sit right here by me and learn much much more
\nFollow my Comforter and you will surely endure<\/p>\n
I dare not trade this journey for silver or gold
\nThe riches I have can\u2019t be bought or sold
\nThey contain many promises yet to be fulfilled
\nOh Comforter drive me onward and keep my heart sealed<\/p>\n
He feeds me when I\u2019m hungry if I would only ask
\nAnd wraps His arms around me when I feel down and out
\nHe tells when I\u2019m wrong with a tug to my heart
\nThat we can stay together never to be apart.<\/p>\n
There is a story that is told in these few words
\nThat the road to the throne is a rough road to endure
\nBut Christ endured it and provided a way
\nBy giving a Comforter to help along the way<\/p>\n
